ANDALUCIA RALLY 2022.
LA TERCERA EDICIÓN POSPUESTA A OTOÑO.
Programado del 7 al 12 de junio, la tercera edición del Andalucía Rally, a su vez tercera manga de la temporada del campeonato del mundo FIA-FIM de rally-raid (W2RC), ha tenido que posponerse debido a la ola de calor y sequía que han azotado Andalucía durante este mes de mayo. Unas condiciones climáticas que han aumentado considerablemente el riesgo de incendios en la región, obligando a las autoridades locales a establecer el nivel máximo de alerta. Con el objetivo de preservar este frágil ecosistema y, a pesar del apoyo recibido por las autoridades implicadas para intentar encontrar soluciones, el conjunto de las partes involucradas en el evento ha considerado que seguir adelante con su celebración no era razonable.
Un caso de fuerza mayor que obliga A.S.O., la FIA, la FIM y el organizador a posponer el Andalucía Rally al otoño, con fechas aún pendientes de definir, pero respetando el recorrido inicialmente previsto.
THIRD EDITION POSTPONED UNTIL THE AUTUMN.
Scheduled from June 7 to 12, the third edition of the Andalucía Rally, which is also the third round of the FIA-FIM World Rally-Raid Championship (W2RC), has been postponed due to the heat wave and drought that has hit Andalusia this past month.
These extreme weather conditions have considerably increased the risk of fires in the region, leading the local authorities to raise the level of fire alert to its maximum. To preserve this already fragile ecosystem and despite the full support of the local authorities,
all the parties involved have decided that continuing with the rally is not possible at this time.
This case of force majeure has obliged A.S.O., the FIA, the FIM and the organiser to postpone the Andalucía Rally until the autumn, to a date still under consideration, but on the initially planned route.
